For ages, I have been wanting to get hold of a good carry-on sized suitcase for travel. I have always used my trusty Osprey backpack which I can’t live without, but it doesn’t exactly look very chic when heading off on weekends away or work trips. So, I am delighted to now have my hands on this Explorer Luna-Air case.

Luna Air is a hardcover suitcase range that comes exclusively from Luggage.co.nz, a luggage online store based out of Tauranga. It is important to support local businesses so I love that this is an NZ based design and company.

This range of cases is really popular because the price point is great but they are also really functional and simple. I love their colour range and I am so happy with this baby pink one, I won’t be mixing it up with anyone else at the airport. The other colours are also amazing, as well as the dusty pink there is lavender, white, black and seafoam.

The case is super lightweight leaving room for all my stuff, I have been known to have a few kilos too many over the limit so the light aspect is a massive tick for me. Even though it’s light there is still lots of room and a good amount of pockets inside – the case is fully lined and the large compartment has a divider pocket on the lid as well as a zip pocket for smaller things. This is good for keeping things clean and separate and popping my laptop in there on work trips.

I have the 56cm carry-on size case but there are also 65cm and 75cm sizes available as well as Russian-doll-style sets with different variations of sizes. All of them have combination code locks on them to keep your things safe. I am really happy with my new case and can’t wait to get on the road with it.
